Los Angeles - 2013-04-02
The 14th edition of Los Angeles International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition - Northern Hemisphere - received 516 extra virgin olive oils from 312 producers,
from from Croatia, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Mexico, Morocco, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey and the United States.
There were a total of 6 Best of Show Awards, 10 Best of Class Awards, 108 Gold Medal Awards, 165 Silver Medal Awards, and 94 Bronze Medal Awards.

The 18th edition of Premio BIOL finishes with the announcement of the winners. Again this edition has been a great success, for various reasons:
the quality and number of 360 participating olive oils from 15 countries and the more and more qualified and expanded international jury.
The jury awarded a total number of 184 prizes: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, extragold, gold and silver, depending on the points achieved in the competition,
starting with silver for >61pts, gold for >71pts and extragold for >77pts which has been introduced as a new award due to the excellence of the oils
belonging to this group inside the gold medal winners. Absolute winner of Biol 2013: Titone DOP Valli Trapanesi from Titone company of Trapani (Sicily-Italy).

Verona - 2013-02-25
Results from the 11th "Sol D'Oro" competition have just been published. More than 200 olive oils from 10 countries participated and
68 olive oils have been awarded "Sol d Oro", "Sol d Argento", "Sol di Bronzo" and "Gran Menzione" in the light, medium and intense fruityness
aswell as in the new "monovariety" and "ecological" categories. Participating countries have been Italy, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Lebanon, Greece, Portugal,
Spain, Slovenia and Croatia. Thirteen of the fifteen available medals in the tight competition went to italian producers,
the other two medals were awarded to two of the leading producers from Priego de Cordoba (Andalusia-Spain) "Almazaras de la Subbetica"
with their currently #1 World Best Olive Oil "Rincon de la Subbetica" and to "Mueloliva" with their "Venta del Baron".
